Dogs are social creatures that get lonely and bored when you’re gone. And they save up all their energy for the minute you walk in the door!
Wouldn’t you rather enjoy some quiet time after work with a dog that has spent most of its energy playing at daycare?
Grandma’s has two play areas where dogs can enjoy other dogs and our friendly staffers.
Small or less energetic dogs have nearly 300 sq ft to themselves while larger dogs have over 1200 sq ft to romp and roam.
Vet records must be presented showing dogs are current on vaccines for Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella (kennel cough).
Must have negative fecal test within last 6 months
Must be spayed or neutered if 6 months or older

Puppies will be introduced gradually into the play area when deemed ready by our staff.
Our goal is for the puppy to become a confident and well-adjusted participant who loves coming to our daycare.
*After pups are in the general play area they will pay the normal dog price plus $2 a day as long as we are asked to serve their lunch.
MULTI-DOG RATE
Dogs in the same family receive a deep discount. The heaviest dog pays full price and each other dog in the family pays in its own weight class, less 50%. The multi-dog rate is only for those paying by the day. It is not for use with pre paid plans.

A typical day at Daycare:
Greeting all the other dogs as they arrive. Baxter and Kiyu, the Beagles, will always be on hand to say Good Morning and play or bark with early arrivals. New dogs will be evaluated during their first stay.
*First dog in will get a filled Kong toy to keep her entertained until another dog arrives.
There is lots of barking and sniffing as each dog arrives. Invitations to play are made with the traditional “play bow” or the offer of the other end of a tug toy.
The rest of the day involves things dogs like best.
*Organized games with staff such as “Fetch,” “I’m Gonna Get You” and “Let’s Dance”
*Disorganized games with other dogs like “Chase Me,” “Tug,” and “King of the Hill”
*Jumping on the furniture

ELIGIBILITY
Each dog will be assessed for social skills before and after it is introduced into the play area. Professional staff will monitor behavior. Dogs should be people and dog friendly.
Our goal is to make each dog happy in the day care environment and our professional dog trainers are in the play areas to make sure that happens. We encourage dogs to play but we also give them time to just hang out.
We understand that older dogs may need extra couch time and that energetic puppies need to rest.
All dogs enjoy “Doggie Nap Time” when the lights are lowered. Blankets or rugs are provided.
